Sea Urchins & Sea Hares

The Colored Royal Tuxedo Sea Urchin is an excellent algae controller for either a reef aquarium or a saltwater fish only aquarium housing aggressive fish.

Bluespot Sea Hare - Dolabella sp. It has a dark brown or green body with bright blue spots across its surface. It has the two frilly rabbit-ear-like appendages that earn this group of nudibrachs their name.

The body of the Sea Hare is a combination of speckles and patterns. This odd looking herbivore is very good at removing problem algae in an aquarium.

The black Longspine Urchin is a very interesting addition to any aquarium. It has long, thin black spines that extend from its body, and rows of blue spots in a symetrical design across its body.

The body of the Dwarf Sea Hare is a combination of speckles and patterns. The location of its rhinophores (organ used to smell) and its oral tentacles make it look a bit like a rabbit, hence its common name.

Also known as Flower Sea Urchin and Flower Tip Urchin.Found singly or in groups in shallow bays and lagoons on sand and rubble areas often covered in detritus.
