One of the easiest, most colorful, and most popular basslets.
Assessors are a very attractive, very hardy fish that makes a wonderful addition to tanks of any size, for aquarists of any experience level.
It is an excellent addition to an aggressive community reef or an aquarium where the Dottyback will be the smallest fish in the tank.
It looks like other members of the genus Liopropoma, sleek, streamlined, with a body shape that resembles an arrowhead.
These fish are very disease resistant, and should not be kept in an aquarium with small shrimp or fish.
Bicolor Pseudochromis, are found living within the coral reefs of the Indo-Pacific region.
The Tobacco Basslet is a very sturdy aquarium fish.
