They may harass smaller fish and invertebrates like crabs and shrimp, so caution is advised when adding them to a reef tank. However, they should not be housed with overly aggressive larger fish. These fish enjoy having plenty of rocks to perch on and hide within when threatened. As carnivores, Falco Hawkfish require a diet rich in meaty foods. Offering them mysis and brine shrimp, frozen meaty foods, and feeder shrimp will ensure they remain healthy and thrive in your aquarium.
