The Orange Skunk Clownfish is a captivating orange and white species native to the Western Pacific Ocean. This clownfish is a favorite for reef aquariums due to its small size and gentle nature.
Orange Skunk Clownfish can reach up to 5 inches in length and require a minimum of a 29-gallon tank to flourish. Their bodies are predominantly orange with a distinctive white stripe running along the top. They thrive best when paired with another clownfish and have an anemone to host. In the absence of a dominant female, a male will transform into a female.
Being reef-safe, the Orange Skunk Clownfish does not disturb corals, other fish, or invertebrates. However, larger fish may pose a threat, but an anemone provides a safe haven for the clownfish.
The diet of the Orange Skunk Clownfish should be rich in both meaty and plant-based foods. Mysis shrimp, frozen marine foods, pellets, and flakes offer the necessary nutrition for growth and vitality.
