NOT REEF SAFE
The Black and White Heniochus Butterflyfish, also known as Heniochus acuminatus, is a favorite in the aquarium world. Its striking black and white pattern and elongated dorsal fin make it a standout. This species can grow up to 10 inches, requiring a minimum tank size of 60 gallons. The Heniochus Butterflyfish features yellow fins and bold black and white stripes, with its long dorsal fin being a key characteristic.
Despite its beauty, the Heniochus Butterflyfish is not suitable for reef tanks. It tends to nip at corals and may even consume some, as well as disturb certain invertebrates.
