The Evansi Anthias is a vibrant and colorful fish, ideal for reef aquariums. With a slender body, its top half is yellow while the bottom half is pink. These active fish thrive in larger groups and can grow up to 4 inches. A minimum tank size of 90 gallons is recommended, and a larger tank is needed if housing multiple Evansi Anthias. They are peaceful and compatible with most fish, but should not be kept with aggressive species.

In groups, only one male Evansi Anthias should be present, as males will fight. Without a male, the dominant female will transform into a male. It's best to introduce several Evansi Anthias simultaneously. These reef-safe fish won't disturb coral or invertebrates and require a carnivorous diet rich in meaty foods like mysis and brine shrimp, along with high-quality flake food. They should be fed small amounts throughout the day.
