The **Spotbreast Angelfish** is a unique large angelfish that thrives in reef aquariums. Known for their gentle nature, these fish can coexist with other angelfish with minimal conflict. The **Spotbreast Angelfish** displays sexual dimorphism in color; males exhibit a white body with dark vertical stripes and yellow fin accents, while females boast a pale white/blue body with a vibrant yellow upper half. Unlike many angelfish, the **Spotbreast Angelfish** can be housed with other non-aggressive angels or as a mated pair. Reaching a maximum size of 7 inches, they are suitable for tanks as small as 125 gallons. Although they may occasionally nip at corals, this behavior is rare. As omnivores, they thrive on a diet rich in Spirulina, algae, and mysis shrimp. Providing ample live rock in the tank is beneficial for hiding and grazing.
