• The Multibar Angel is a visually appealing small angelfish suitable for compact aquariums. Reaching a maximum size of 5 inches, it thrives in tanks of about 40 gallons. The Multibar Angel features a white body with bold black vertical stripes and a vibrant yellow lower section. Juveniles display a distinctive blue spot on their eyes. Introducing a Multibar Angelfish to a reef tank can be challenging, as they may nibble on hard and soft corals and disturb clams. Providing ample rock formations for grazing and hiding is beneficial. This species is considered difficult to maintain due to its selective eating habits, preferring live sponges, mysis shrimp, and marine algae.
