The Orange-Back Fairy Wrasse is a stunning and super colorful wrasse. Orange-Back Fairy Wrasses have a mostly bluish purple body with strong orange coloration on their backs. Orange-Back Fairy Wrasses also have a bright red head. Male Orange-Back Fairy Wrasses tend to be more colorful than females as well.

Orange-Back Fairy Wrasses reach a maximum adult size of around 4 inches and need to be kept in tanks that are at least 75 gallons in size. Orange-Back Fairy Wrasses are peaceful fish and shouldn't bother other fish, coral or fish in your tank. This makes them a great choice for reef tanks. Orange-Back Fairy Wrasses are strong jumpers and shouldn't be kept in tanks that don't have a tight fitting lid with no holes large enough for them to jump through.

Orange-Back Fairy Wrasses can be kept in a male female pair, but two males shouldn't be kept together to avoid aggression. Orange-Back Fairy Wrasses will thrive in tanks that have lots of live rock for them to sleep in and pick at small inverts between feedings.
