Social Long Fin Fairy Wrasse-Cirrhilabrus rubriventralis
The Longfin Fairy Wrasse is a stunning and vibrant species of fairy wrasse. These fish display a predominantly red body with an orange underside and striking blue accents. Males are typically more vividly colored than females.
Reaching up to 3 inches in length, Longfin Fairy Wrasses require a minimum tank size of 40 gallons. They are peaceful and coexist well with other fish, corals, and invertebrates, making them an excellent choice for reef aquariums. Due to their jumping ability, ensure your tank has a secure lid without any gaps.
These wrasses thrive in small groups or pairs, either all females or one male with several females. Multiple males may exhibit aggression towards each other. They prefer tanks with ample live rock for hiding and resting. Additionally, they may graze on small invertebrates between meals.
As carnivores, Longfin Fairy Wrasses need a diet rich in meaty foods. Offer them mysis and brine shrimp, high-quality frozen foods, and premium flake and pellet foods to maintain their health and vibrancy.
