The **Koi Fairy Wrasse** is a captivating and uncommon species of fairy wrasse. These fish feature a predominantly white body adorned with pinkish-red patterns on their upper half and dorsal fin, reminiscent of Koi fish, which is how they got their name. **Koi Fairy Wrasse** can grow up to 5 inches and require a minimum tank size of 90 gallons. They are known for their jumping ability, so a secure lid is essential to prevent escape. These peaceful fish coexist well with other marine life, but male **Koi Fairy Wrasse** may show aggression towards other males. It's advisable to keep them in groups of females or one male with several females. In the absence of a dominant male, the leading female will transform into a male. They thrive in aquariums with ample live rock for shelter and rest. An attached refugium and established live rock will offer plenty of small invertebrates for the **Koi Fairy Wrasse** to feed on between meals. As carnivores, they need a diet rich in meaty foods such as mysis and brine shrimp, high-quality frozen foods, and premium flake and pellet foods to maintain their health and vitality.
