Carpenter's Flasher Wrasses are very peaceful fish and will not bother other fish, coral or inverts in your system. This makes them a great fish to have in a reef aquarium. Male Carpenter's Flasher Wrasses will be aggressive towards other males, so it is best to keep them singularly or as a male with females. Carpenter's Flasher Wrasses need to be kept with other peaceful fish, and will not do well with overly aggressive tank mates. Carpenter's Flasher Wrasses do not need a sand bed, and will sleep in the rock work.
Carpenter's Flasher Wrasses are carnivores and require a diet that is rich in meaty foods. Foods like mysis and brine shrimp, high quality meaty frozen foods and high quality flake and pellet foods will help your Carpenter's Flasher Wrasse stay healthy and happy.
