Reaching up to 20 inches, **Fowleri Tangs** require a minimum tank size of 360 gallons. They are energetic swimmers, thriving in elongated tanks that offer ample swimming space. Generally peaceful with other fish, invertebrates, and corals, the **Fowleri Tang** is an excellent addition to expansive reef aquariums.

However, they may exhibit aggression towards other tangs, particularly those within the Acanthurus family. To mitigate this, house multiple tangs in the largest tank feasible and introduce them simultaneously. Providing plenty of algae sheets or established live rock for grazing can also help reduce aggression.

As herbivores, **Fowleri Tangs** need a diet rich in greens. Foods like nori, algae sheets, high-quality flakes, pellets, spirulina, and mysis shrimp support their growth and vitality. Adding supplements such as selcon and garlic can boost their immune system.
