Recommended for tanks or refugiums up to 19.5" long, the MJ-L230R Refugium LED Light Fixture is an efficient and budget-friendly solution for growing macroalgae and supporting nutrient export. The specialized spectrum is tuned to promote fast, healthy growth of chaeto and other algae, helping reduce excess nutrients and stabilize your system's water parameters.

The slim aluminum body acts as a heatsink for passive cooling, so there’s no fan noise to worry about.

The included in-line controller adds built-in control while keeping programming simple. Choose from one of three pre-set spectrums ranging from a more blue display refugium vibe, a more purple algae growth focused spectrum, or one that's in between. Then set your preferred photoperiod with 6, 10, or 12-hour timing options to match your refugium schedule. No apps, no extra hardware, just easy and straightforward control.

Two mounting options are available for the MJ-L230R. The first and most popular option is to use the included tank mounting arm. No need to buy an arm separately, everything you need to get started is included! There is also a separately available hanging kit for those who prefer to suspend the light over a sump or refugium chamber.
