IceCap Reverse Osmosis Upgrade Kits will increase the production of any 75 GPD reverse osmosis system to 150 GPD or 100 GPD RO membrane up to 200 GPD while cutting the amount of wastewater nearly in half. With the installation of this kit, water production will increase from approximately three gallons per hour to six gallons per hour! The kit does require 65psi or more into the first membrane in order to function properly and be efficient.

Compatible with:

150 GPD Upgrade Kit- Most 75 GPD RO Systems

200 GPD Upgrade Kit- Most 100 GPD RO Systems

Recommended Conditions:

  • Minimum Water Pressure - 65 PSI
  • Max Water Pressure - 90 PSI
  • Recommended Water Temperature - 77°F
  • Recommended Max TDS - <300ppm

Recommended Flow Restrictor for 75 GPD RO Systems - 550mL/min

Recommended Flow Restrictor for 100 GPD RO Systems - 800mL/min

Upgrade Kit Includes:

  • Dow RO Membrane
  • 2 x 2.5in x 2.5in membrane stand-off clips
  • 2 x 1/8" x ¼" 90-degree elbows (installed)
  • 1/8" x ¼" 90° check valve (installed)
  • RO membrane housing
  • ¼" tube splitter
  • 5 Feet of White RO Line

Not Included But Recommended:

Multiple DI canisters for 150 GPD/200GPD systems*

DOW Filmtec 75 GPD Membranes have a 96% - 99% typical stabilized salt rejection rate that can be reproduced through the following conditions;

  • Source Water Pressure - 50 PSI / Membrane
  • Source Water Temperature - 77°F
  • Source Water TDS - 250ppm Softened Tap Water
  • Recovery - 15%
  • Minimum Salt Rejection - 96%

DOW Filmtec 100 GPD Membranes have a 96% - 98% typical stabilized salt rejection rate that can be reproduced through the following conditions;

  • Source Water Pressure - 50 PSI / Membrane
  • Source Water Temperature - 77°F
  • Source Water TDS - 500ppm Softened Tap Water
  • Recovery - 15%
  • Minimum Salt Rejection - 96%

*High TDS Message -
Source water with high total dissolved solids (TDS) we do not recommend using the membrane upgrade kit. If used you may experience increased DI consumption. The RO system with the upgrade kit will increase the water filtered and decreasing the amount of wastewater, but the overall amount of TDS passing the membranes may be slightly higher than a single membrane system. Because of that, your DI consumption will increase. It is suggested to use multiple DI canisters for 150 GPD/200GPD systems.
