AF Bio Sand is a premium white sand for saltwater aquariums, designed to jumpstart your tank's nitrogen cycle and help establish biological filtration faster. Each bag includes two bottles—one with lab-cultured nitrifying bacteria and another with nutrients to support bacterial growth. When added to the sand and activated in saltwater, this combination promotes rapid colonization, allowing you to cycle your tank more quickly and with greater stability. Made from high-purity calcium carbonate, AF Bio Sand also helps maintain stable pH and alkalinity levels.

How to Use:

Rinse the sand in RODI water to reduce initial cloudiness. Combine both bottles with 3 liters of saltwater and pour the solution into the sand bag. Leave open for 24 hours at 25–28°C (77–82°F) to activate the bacteria. Then add the sand to your aquarium in small amounts while monitoring parameters.
