Yellow Clown Goby - Gobiodon okinawae
The Yellow Clown Goby is a petite and vibrant addition to any reef aquarium. These gobies are entirely yellow and reach a maximum size of about 2 inches. They thrive in tanks of at least 10 gallons. Known for their peaceful nature, Yellow Clown Gobies coexist well with other fish, corals, and invertebrates, making them ideal for reef setups. However, they should not be housed with larger, aggressive fish.
These gobies often perch on SPS hard corals, so providing plenty of such corals is beneficial. While they may occasionally irritate corals, the corals typically recover. As carnivores, Yellow Clown Gobies require a diet rich in meaty foods like mysis and brine shrimp, high-quality frozen foods, and small pieces of fresh seafood to maintain their health and happiness.
