The Dragon Goby is a very unique and interesting looking goby. Dragon Gobies have a mostly greenish brown body with white along their bellies. They also have strong vertical black stripes and red and white spots.

Dragon Gobies reach a maximum size of around 6 inches and need to be kept in tanks that are at least 40 gallons in size. Dragon Gobies are strong jumpers and need to be kept in tanks with tight fitting lids with no holes large enough for them to jump through. Dragon Gobies are peaceful fish but might get aggressive to other gobies. Dragon Gobies are peaceful to other fish, coral and inverts in your tank, making them a good choice for reef tanks.

Dragon Gobies do best when placed in a tank with lots of live rock for them to graze on between feedings. Dragon Gobies will also hide in the rock work if threatened.

Dragon Gobies are omnivores and require a diet that is rich in both meaty and green foods. Foods like mysis and brine shrimp, spirulina, nori, marine algae sheets, spirulina, high quality frozen foods and high quality flake and pellet foods will keep your Dragon Goby healthy and happy. Also Dragon Gobies should be feed a small meal at least twice a day.
