The Bluespotted Watchman Goby is a great addition to your reef tank. Bluespotted Watchman Goby have plenty of personality and can become a good house keeper in your tank.

The Bluespotted Watchman Goby can reach a fully grown adult size of 6 inches and requires a tank of at least 29 gallons to feel at home. The Bluespotted Watchman Goby requires a tank with a tight fitting lid with no holes are enough to fit through. Bluespotted Watchman Goby are jumpers and if spooked with jump out of tanks without covers. The Bluespotted Watchman Goby also needs a sand bed that it can borrow in. Bluespotted Watchman Goby has a mostly yellowish-green body with various electric blue dots all over it.

The Bluespotted Watchman Goby is considered a reef safe fish, since it will not bother other fish, coral or inverts in your tank. Bluespotted Watchman Goby should only be kept in multiples if just keeping one pair, otherwise they will show aggression to non-paired Bluespotted Watchman Gobies. The Bluespotted Watchman Goby will spend all day sifting through the sand bed looking for foods, some people find this a nice way to keep their sand bed clean.

Bluespotted Watchman Goby are carnivores and require a diet rich in meaty foods. Food such as mysis, brine and table shrimp should be offered to your Bluespotted Watchman Goby. Also some high quality frozen marine food will do. Bluespotted Watchman Goby should be feed multiple times a day.
