hw-Marinemix professional is a salt mix for those that are either shooting for natural sea water parameters, or advanced aquarists who want fine-tune the major, minor, and trace elements in their freshly mixed saltwater. By mixing at near natural sea water levels, all water parameters can be easily increased to the desired levels, giving you more flexibility vs most other salt mixes available to the saltwater aquarium hobby.

Estimated Parameters (when mixed to 35ppt*)

pH: 8.1-8.3

Alkalinity: 8.7-9.7 dKH

Calcium: 400-440 ppm

Magnesium: 1240-1320 ppm

Potassium: 385-420 ppm

*Levels are approximate and may differ slightly due to test kit variances.

Mixing Instructions:

By Volume: Add 1/2 cup of Marinemix Salt per 1 gallon of RO/DI water. 

By Weight (Preferred): Add 150 grams of Marinemix Salt per 1 gallon of RO/DI water to achieve 35 ppt salinity.

Let it mix until it is clear and test the salinity of the solution before using. More or less salt may be required, depending on your target salinity level. Always test the salinity level before using in your aquarium.
