The Sebae Anemone is a very elegant and colorful anemone. Sebae Anemones have long flowing tentacles that extend out of a central base. Sebae Anemones can range in color from tan and brown to blues.
Sebae Anemones reach a maximum size of around 8 inches and should be kept in tanks that are at least 29 gallons. Sebae Anemones are aggressive anemones and shouldn't bother too many fish, coral or inverts in your tank. This makes them a good anemone to place in reef tanks. Sebae Anemones can bother some corals with their stings and also could possibly eat smaller or sick fish.
Sebae Anemones like to be placed in tanks that have high light levels. Sebae Anemones will move around your tank until they find a position that they like. Having lots of live rock for them to move around on and finally pick as their preferred location will be beneficial to your Sebae Anemone. Sebae Anemones are good hosts for some species of clownfish as well, providing the clownfish protection from larger fish that aren't immune to the sting of the Sebae Anemone.
Sebae Anemones are carnivores and require a diet that is rich in meaty foods. Foods like mysis and brine shrimp as well as small chunks of fresh seafood will keep your Sebae Anemone healthy and happy.
