Description: The Flametail goby, also known as the beautiful prawn-goby, or Aurora watchman goby, is a boldly-colored shrimp goby from the waters off south Africa, in the Indian Ocean. Another beautiful fish not often seen at your local LFS due to availability, we were lucky enough to get a few of these beauties and we have put them on sale for those who have been waiting patiently.

Recommended Tank : The Flametail goby requires a sandbed , and it prefers a reef tank of at least 10 gallons .A peaceful fish, it gets along well with other reef safe tank mates.

Feeding and Diet: The diet should consist of mysid shrimp, vitamin-enriched brine shrimp, and Krill 

General Comments: It is not aggressive towards others and may even share a burrow

Level of Care: Very Hardy, easy to maintain

Reef Compatibility:Good reef tank species
