Purple Scale Fairy Wrasse: Male - Cirrhilabrus lyukyuensis

The Purple Scale Fairy Wrasse, Cirrhilabrus lyukyuensis, also known as the Yellow Flanked Fairy Wrasse, has a yellow/red/purple body with yellow on their sides. Males and females are quite similar except for slightly increased color intensities in males.

 The Purple Scale Fairy Wrasse should be kept in a tank with a soft sandy substrate, and plentiful live rock work structures for it to hide, as well as a tight lid to prevent escaping.
