Condylactis Anemone: Color; Atl. - Condylactis gigantea
The Condylactis Anemone buries its base into sandy substrate. It requires strong light and does not have a symbiotic relationship with clownfish, or any other fish for that matter, and must be handled with caution as its tentacles deliver a sharp sting to fish, hands, other anemones, and corals.
It should not be kept with Red Leg hermit crabs from the genus Dardanus. The Condylactis Anemone will move around the tank to multiple spots and is best kept with live rock and crustaceans. Their diet should consist of shrimp, mussels, clams, and other like foods.
