The Arothron Puffer is a fish of many names including Spotted Puffer, Guinea Fowl Puffer, and Golden Puffer. It changes appearance during different stages of its life. While in the black phase, it is deep blue to black with white spots over the entire body.

The Balloon Porcupine Fish is an odd looking fish that has the ability to inflate with water when threatened. In the ocean Balloon Porcupines can often be found in small groups but replicating this in the home aquarium can be foolish because of their potential adult size and because they can be one of the dirtier fishes to keep.

The Boxfish is also referred to as the Spotted Boxfish, Blue Boxfish, Black Boxfish, or Whitespotted Boxfish. The various names are due to the dimorphic appearance of the male and female. The male is the more colorful of the two, with a vibrant blue body and a wide black swath covering the top of the body like a cap.

The Dog Face Puffer, also known as the Blackspotted Puffer, gets its name from its resemblance to canines.

Blackspotted Puffers (Arothron nigropunctatus) are also commonly known asYellow belly "Dogface Puffers" (although this common name may also refer to other puffers from the Arothron genus as well). They have a face that resembles that of a dog, and a personality to match.

Animal Species:False-eye Puffer, Canthigaster papua (Bleeker, 1848) The False-eye Puffer get's it's name from the black spot at the base of the dorsal fin which looks like an eye.

The Longhorn Cowfish inhabit the reefs of the Indo-Pacific, usually in the less turbid waters. The body is yellow and covered with white dots, and is occasionally referred to as the Yellow Boxfish

The Porcupine Puffer is also known as the Porcupinefish or Porcupine Pufferfish. It has spiny appendages which cover most of its body, which may vary from light gray to mottled tans, sometimes with dark spots. Its teeth are actually a fused beak-like structure.

The sharpnose puffer (Canthigaster rostrata) is a small fish from the Atlantic Ocean. It reaches a maximum size of only 4-5 inches (10.1-12.7 cm). It belongs to the family Tetraodontidae.

Southern Puffers are generally smaller than porcupinefishes and smooth scaled. These fishes use their pectoral fins to achieve highly manoeuvrable propulsion, but the pelvic fins are absent.

The Spiny Box Puffer is also known as the Striped Burrfish. Its body is yellow in colour and it has a tan with dark striping over it. It has short and fixed spines which protects it from larger, more aggressive fish. The Spiny Box Puffer has short, fixed spines which help protect it from larger, more aggressive fish

The Spotted Puffer is also called the White Spotted Sharpnose Puffer, or White Spot Hawaiian Puffer. Members of the Canthigaster genus are called Sharp-nosed Puffers or Tobies. It is a reddish brown with white spots. It lacks pelvic fins, but has learned to use the pectoral fins to move about the aquarium.

The Stars and Stripes Puffer is light grey in colour with small white starlike spots. Hence the name.

The Trunkfish is and Omnivore. Needs both meat and vegetables. Especially mollusks, algae, sea cucumbers, sea urchins, marine plants and crustaceans.

These puffers are white with brown saddel bands which resemble dripping paint and many small spots.
