Kent Marine Iron and Magnesuim Supplement, 8 oz. Kent Marine Super Chelated Iron Supplement supplies needed iron, manganese, potassium and minor trace minerals for proper growth and health of caulerpa, coralline, and other calcareous marine algae, and those invertebrates which have symbiotic algae living in their tissues. It contains a chelated form of iron which will stay available in the system for long periods of time, suppling algae in a timed release fashion, as needed. Directions: Add 1 teaspoon (1 capful or 5 ml) per 50 gallons (190 l) every week or 8 drops each day in normal systems. If particularly trying to grow caulerpas or other macro algae, Super Chelated Iron Supplement can be used at up to 3 times the rated dose, very safely.

Kent Marine Liquid Calcium 16oz. Concentrated Liquid Calcium provides bio-available calcium for lush growth of purple, pink and green calcareous algae, snails, hard tube worms and clams. Corals will open more and stay attached to their skeletons better with regular use. Phosphate and nitrate free! Contains no gluconates, EDTA, or other organic to raise DOC levels, as many competing products do. Concentrated Liquid Calcium alone can provide all the calcium your reef will need, but for maximum results use Kent Kalkwasser Mix first, then raise calcium level with this product. Strontium addition via use of Kent Marine Strontium and Molybdenum Supplement is absolutely necessary. Usc of Coral-Vite and Essential Elements are beneficial as well. Directions: Add ¼ to 1 teaspoon (1/4 to 1 capful or 1.25 to 5 ml) per 50 gallons (190 l) of tank capacity each day, based on animal load. Since animals use calcium, and gallons do not, regular testing of calcium level by a good calcium test kit is advised. Adjust amount of addition of the product to achieve a calcium level of about 400 mg/l. A higher level may result in rapid calcium compound precipitation and deposits which can possibly be destructive to pumps and other sensitive system equipment. It is recommended that you regularly check impellers and other delicate equipment for calcium deposits if you run higher (above 400 mg/l) system calcium levels! For best results adjust system KH to 8 to 10 dKH with Superbuffer-dKH or Marine Aquarium pH•Buffer.

Liquid Reactor 16 oz from Kent Marine. Description: Liquid Reactor is a complete calcium buffer system designed to give the same results as costly calcium reactor systems without investing in a reactor, CO2 tank, solenoid, and pH controller; also, there is no risk of overdosing CO2 and causing subsequent problems with algae and/or pH. This product will raise the concentrations of calcium, magnesium, strontium, and carbonates (alkalinity) in the system, and is chloride, phosphate, nitrate, and gluconate free! Each 16 oz. of Liquid Reactor will treat 5,000 gallons or 18,900 liters and contains 126,000 ppm of calcium and 193,000 ppm carbonates. Directions: Shake vigorously for 5-10 seconds immediately before each use! Add 5-10 ml (Cap on 16 oz. bottle equals 5 ml, Cap on 64 oz. and gallon equals 10 ml) per 55 gallons (200 L) aquarium capacity directly to an area of high water flow each day until target calcium level and alkalinity are reached. This product is intended to cloud the aquarium and any cloudiness observed (due to its highly-concentrated formula) will dissipate within an hour or so. It is strongly recommended that Liquid Reactor be added to the system at night, in order to counter the natural tendency for pH to decrease during this time, and to allow time for the aquarium to clear. Each 1 ml of Liquid Reactor per gallon of purified water will increase the concentration of calcium by 33 ppm and carbonates by 51 ppm.

Specially formulated mixture of dissolvable solids (also called general hardness or GH) which includes major salts of sodium, magnesium, calcium, and potassium together with all necessary minor and trace minerals, together with a small amount of carbonate alkalinity (KH) to reproduce artificial river water (most aquarium fish are river fish). Provides natural water chemistry for the conversion of reverse osmosis, distilled or deionized water for fresh water fish and plants. Provides a balanced electrolyte system. Useful for all fresh water fish, including Discus. This is the premium dry formula used the world over to raise discus and other freshwater species. Contains no phosphates, nitrates, silicates or organic chemicals to pollute the system! RO Right is unmatched for quality and value! Directions: Shake well before using. According to the table located under ‘Use and Interaction’, add the appropriate amounts of Liquid R/O RIGHT to every 5 gallons of purified water, for initial tank setup or for water changes, depending on the type of fish and the desired water total dissolved solids (TDS includes all ions in solution. It is better measured electronically or by conductivity meter. General hardness or GH tests usually only measure calcium & magnesium content and are a poor substitute). Do not greatly exceed the recommended teaspoons even if your test indicates different!

Osmo Prep Marine, 1 Kg., Kent Marine. Specially formulated mixture containing heavy amounts of calcium and magnesium together with potassium, buffering compounds and minor minerals. Reconstitutes reverse osmosis, distilled or deionized water to provide a base mixture for seawater mixes used in marine aquariums. Particularly useful to assist in maintaining proper calcium, magnesium and buffer levels for reef aquariums. Provides heavy calcium and magnesium to assist deficient or poorly designed salt mixes. Contains no phosphates, nitrates, silicates, or organics! Directions: Dissolve Osmo•Prep Marine in water prepared by reverse osmosis, deionization or distillation, then add sea salt mix and use for initial tank setup or for water changes. If using low end salt mixes, use two teaspoons or 10 grams Osmo•Prep per 10 gallons (38 liters) of water, or more if resulting buffer and calcium tests are low. Water may appear cloudy at first, this will clear shortly. Follow the manufacturer’s directions for the amount of salt to add. Osmo•Prep is not required for Kent Sea Salt because it is designed for purified water, but may be used if you desire higher buffer, calcium and magnesium levels. It is recommended that only 1 teaspoon of Osmo•Prep Marine per 10 gallons be used when preparing water with Kent Sea Salt. It is recommended that you test aquarium alkalinity after mixing and regularly thereafter and use Kent® Marine Aquarium pH•BUFFER or Superbuffer-dKH to maintain alkalinity at about 10 dKH. For reefs, test calcium level and add Kalkwasser Mix, Concentrated Liquid Calcium, Turbo•Calcium, or Tech•CB to raise, if required. Coral-Vite will give superior results, and regular use of Essential Elements will replace valuable minerals lost to protein skimming and filtration.

Coral-Vite will give superior results, and regular use of Essential Elements will replace valuable minerals lost to protein skimming and filtration. This item is a special order item only.

Professional Pro-Tech Coat Fresh, 16 oz., Kent Marine. Pro-Tech Coat Fresh neutralizes chlorine and heavy metals while helping to restore the natural slime coating to calm fish and relieve their stress and protect against abrasion. It helps acclimatize fish to new surroundings. It can be used when preparing tap water, making water changes, adding new fish, handling fish, transporting fish, or when fish are wounded. Pro Tech Coat Marine is different than competing products because it contains only costly polyvinylpyrrolidone as the coating ingredient. This same product is FDA approved as an ingredient in human medicinal and nutrition products. Pro Tech Coat Maine does not affect biological filtration and is safe for all marine species including sensitive hard and soft corals and other invertebrates. Directions: Important: Adjust alkalinity to a minimum of 2 dKH (or 40 ppm or .75 meq/L) using Kent pH•STABLE, if necessary. Dilute one drop per gallon of aquarium capacity or one teaspoon (capful or 5 ml) per 50 gallons (190 liters) of aquarium capacity in cup of water and evenly disperse around the aquarium. Precipitated particles should be removed by a properly working mechanical filter and fine filtering medium, such as filter floss, or siphoned out. Allow 8 hours before siphoning. Repeat in 24 hours, if necessary. Note: Do not use this product at night or on very very soft water (i.e. below 40 ppm total alkalinity) without first adjusting alkalinity as directed above! Operate aquarium lights a minimum of 4 hours after use and provide good circulation and aeration during use!

pH-Control Minus, 1000 grams dry, Kent Marine. pH-Control Minus safely lowers pH of tap or aquarium water when used as directed. When used in conjunction with Kent pH-Stable, it will provide a buffered, acidic pH in the system. The use of a good pH test kit is absolutely necessary while using this product, and the use of an alkalinity test kit is strongly recommended! (CAUTION! Many electronic pH pens and probes drift over time and frequent calibration with a good test kit is strongly recommended!) Phosphate Free! Directions: First read the considerations for use section below. This is a professional strength product. Exercise care! If in doubt, use less, then measure pH. Consult an authoritative guide for the proper pH for the type of fish you are keeping. Add 1/8 (one-eighth) teaspoon granules to a pint (1/2 liter) of tank water and mix well. Disperse this amount around the tank for every 20 gallons (80 liters) of tap or tank water to lower pH. Several additions will be required to overcome highly alkaline waters and pH rebound will be experienced. PH stabilization takes 24 hours. If pH is still too high, repeat process, increasing dosage, if necessary. Each addition will reduce alkalinity until pH becomes manageable.
